Goals: 

1. Develop project management processes that include plannning and communications.
2. Implement a consolidated service desk that provides for standardized incident and change management and an improved customer experience.
3. Increase communications within the district by implementing a web presence that provides district staff with information on available services and mechanisms for obtaining support.
4. Implement tools for developing metrics to measure customer satisfaction and determine the effectiveness of services delivered by the department.
5. Refresh existing technologies, deploy new tools/equipment and solutions to support student learning and to aid teachers and administrative staff.
6. Enhance reliability and disaster recovery of the district’s network and application infrastructure, maintaining integrity and cost efficiencies in the delivery of operations and support services.

What does Technology and Information Services do?

Technology and Information Services provides professional services designed to facilitate the use of technology by enterprises and end users.  We provide specialized technology-oriented solutions by combining the processes and functions of software, hardware, networks, telecommunications and electronics to make Round Rock ISD a world-class District.

Technology and Information Services are also known as Information Technology Services. Services range from basic internet connectivity to enterprise application (EA) software. Technology service providers include internet service providers (ISP), application service providers (ASP), cloud providers, and developers.
